‚ÄčI have had the pleasure to work at Abraham Clark High School for the past 30 plus years as the Teacher/Coordinator of Health Occupations & Director of Special Programs. I have experience in the fields of Nursing, Health Education, Distance Learning and Personalized Student Learning Plans.  I currently teach the following courses: Health Occupations/Dynamics of Health Care in Society for three periods a day where I supervise students in their clinical "hands on" experiences in three different health care settings.  Introduction To Health Careers which allows students to learn about careers in the health field and to help prepare them for their clinical experience in Health Occupations the following year.   Medical Terminology which allows students to gain college credit while learning about the medical terms used in health care and the various types of tests and disoders. The last course in the Health Occupations Program is called Health Co-op and Emergency & Clinical Care.  These courses are for senior students and will help to prepare for post secondary training.  Students who participate in the Health Occupations Program can obtain up to 12 tuition free college credits with Rutgers School of Health Related Professions through a special articulation agreement that I have arranged .  I also serve as a presenter in the areas of distance learning, career and technical education and serve as the Coordinator of the New Teacher Induction and Mentoring Program for new teachers in the Roselle School District.
