Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2019-2020 academic year at Abraham Clark High School.  As the instructional leader in the building, I am thrilled to work closely with my administrative team to create a supportive and collaborative environment for all students enrolled in Abraham Clark High School.

Our school community continues to thrive because of the support we are given from all community stake holders.  Through community partnerships our students benefit immensely.

As we embark upon this 2019-2020 academic year, we remain focused and committed to providing our students with challenging academics in a supportive and encouraging environment. In an effort to prepare all of our students for work, college and life, teachers at Abraham Clark High School provide purposeful, data-based instruction for students’ social, emotional and academic growth.

As a school community, we have so much to celebrate, as of June 25, 2018 Abraham Clark High School has been officially removed from the NJDOE’s watch list for schools in need of improvement.  Moreover, we have been given the distinguished recognition as one of the most improved high schools in the state of New Jersey for student achievement from 2012-2018.
Parents, please note that on September 5, 2019, our Annual Welcome Back Parade of Scholars will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in front of Abraham Clark High School. Our Annual Family Gathering will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at ACHS in the Large Gym from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Come out and meet the dynamic staff we have in our school who work alongside your children each day. As a reminder if you have not already turned in all forms (lunch application, emergency card etc.), please send them with your child on Thursday, September 5, 2019, all forms can be turned into the main office.

As always, our community of ACHS educators look forward to working with our students, parents and the Roselle community, at large. Together, we will have a tremendous school year ahead!

Educationally yours,
Rashon Mickens
